Hendrix Student Senate elections took place on February 12, and by that evening, the student body received the last email from 2018-2019 Senate President Hannah Burdette. “On behalf of myself and the Executive Committee, I’d like to say we all feel it has been an honor serving in our positions. Chi Alpha staff banned from campus

After meeting with local and state leaders of Chi Alpha regarding allegations of misconduct, Dean of Students Jim Wiltgen and Reverend J.J. Whitney made the decision to ban non-student leaders of Chi Alpha from the Hendrix campus for one year. This decision was prompted by testimonies from students indicating Chi Alpha had violated the contract that allowed their presence on campus, and tested the boundaries of the ethical framework for religious life groups at Hendrix.
